About Us - East Alabama Chamber of Commerce

About Us

The East Alabama Chamber of Commerce is located in Phenix City, Alabama bordering the Chattahoochee River to our East.  Across the river is Columbus, Georgia.  The East Alabama Chamber of Commerce changed its name from the Phenix City – Russell County Chamber of Commerce to create a more welcoming environment for the smaller towns in the county and also our neighbors in Smiths Station, Alabama residing in Lee County.

The East Alabama Chamber of Commerce is a vibrant member of the community and seeks to promote, endorse, advocate, and educate the business community.  We look to be a partner with the government entities in our region to help encourage economic development and business retention.

Our chamber provides focused, hands on customer service giving all our members the opportunity to meet with the CEO when there is a question or concern.  Our goal is to make sure that members feel the power of membership and realize the benefit of being in our organization.

Our motto – “Shop local and seek out a chamber member first”
